THE WHO
I love creating great content -- whether assisting a major client introduce its revolutionary new recycling technology to the world or doing my part to win an incredible mountain bike trail for my hometown, I like figuring out a brand's story and crafting engaging content that resonates.
Over the years, I’ve honed my skills in concept creation, copy/scriptwriting, storytelling, video field production, production management, video post-production, budgeting, team management, and strategy. I’ve had the pleasure of working with a huge variety of clients making myriad forms of content ranging from higher ed to renewable energy, music festivals to consumer brands.
I love figuring out creative solutions to creative problems, working with talented people to make those ideas even better, and then collaborating with others to execute those concepts.

THIS WAS A MASSIVE MULTIMEDIA EFFORT TO WIN THE BELL BUILT TRAIL GRANT. WE HAD FUN WITH HASHTAGS, MADE A GREAT WEBSITE, AND PRODUCED SOME EXTREMELY SILLY NO-BUDGET VIDEOS. IN THE END, WE BLEW THE DOORS OFF THE COMPETITION, EVEN BEATING OUT AREAS WITH 5X THE POPULATION OF KNOXVILLE.
THE WHERE
For the past few years, I’ve served as the Director of Content Development for Loch & Key Productions, a position that has an entire rack of hats to wear. I’m involved with business development, concept creation, strategy, budgeting, execution, and more. In the process, I’ve managed teams of all sizes, often juggling multiple projects at once. Because we focus exclusively on short-form, it has required me to work quickly yet deftly - every project requires both concise thought and a well-managed production. I’ve grown adept at distilling a brand’s central message and then presenting it in a way that engages its intended audience.
Prior to Loch & Key, I was a co-owner of The Frame Theory, a boutique video production company that also specializes in short-form, branded video content. Whether creating nationally-televised commercials for Sugarlands Distilling Company or a series of vignettes for Union College (NY), every project I created concisely hit the marketing points the client wanted in creative and effective ways. While there, I conceptualized, wrote, produced, and post-produced projects for a wide range of clients, winning multiple ADDY and CASE awards in the process. Also, because video production is a collaborative process requiring strong leadership, I managed groups of people during every phase of the process, from the clients themselves to crews of freelancers.
Previously, I spent several years on the development team at RIVR Media and worked with a variety of cable television networks conceiving and pitching countless projects from the full spectrum of genres. It was here that I honed my ability to simultaneously work on multiple projects with tight deadlines and learned the art of balancing the needs and concerns of multiple stakeholders on any given project.
